Earthquake strikes Hawaii

CNN writes:

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 was felt across Hawaii early Sunday, causing a landslide that blocked a major highway on Hawaii Island, the Pacific Tsunami Center said.

The state Civil Defense had unconfirmed reports of injuries, but communication problems prevented more definite reports. People also were trapped in elevators on the island of Oahu, authorities said.

We hope that everyone, cast and crew of Lost or not, is okay.

Hmm, 6.5 is pretty major. For those of you not familiar with the islands, though, the island of Hawaii is not super-close to the island of Oahu, where Lost is filmed, but I’m sure they felt it. My best wishes go out to all Hawaiians, too!

Whoa. Personally, I’ve never been in an earthquake, but that’s kinda freaky. I hope nobody from LOST was anyware near it.

You mean, “Who turned the key back?” The hatch is destroyed, but Desmond turned the key to stop everything…otherwise there would have been earthquakes, loud sounds and bright lights every 108 minutes…someone turned the key back. 🙂

  5. Cecilia says:

Hah! My theory is that JJ Abrams let the ball drop this time… he forgot to enter The Numbers on the film editing room computer. 🙂

We’ve been getting 4.2 earthquakes out here in Bar Harbor where I go to college . . . they’re kind of ridiculous.

After all earthquake is a natural disaster, no matter how we afraid of it or try to avoid it but it’s a fact which has taken the lives of the million. The big corporate houses of manufacturing, finance, currency trading , constructions houses will demolish in a few seconds due to its affect.
Many attempts have been made already to escape from earthquake, new technology, is keep on giving stress on finding new ways to save ourselves from this hazard.
Only destiny knows who will going to flee from this monster.
In the end whatever we say it is also the fruit of our deeds.
